Vibes for Reggie please... u/d all better we think

The Hu-parents were running a little late on her syringe feed and when they went into the kitchen she was eating / had eaten quite a lot of fresh herbs  

Humum's given her more of the things she was eating and will check on her in another hour or so - the chances are she'll get a syringe feed anyway to make sure she has enough to eat but things are looking up a bit

Glad things are improving   

She's brighter still today, eating lots of herby veg, some hay and a sneaky mini shredded wheat. She's not 100% though as she turned her nose up at a fenugreek crunchie  and still does not want her pellets.

She can have some pain relief later with a top-up syringe feed, then they might try her on no meds tomorrow as they are around to keep an eye on her, and she can go back outside (during the day at least) where she will be a bit less stressed.

Well done Reggie! Keep it up!

So happy reggie is doing better    

She has cleared a dish of pellets, one of dried herbs, two of veg and nibbled on hay    

She's not had any meds today, and has been put back in her usual quarters where she has been quite chilled out. There are some smallish, dark poops but hopefully as she starts eating properly again they'll go back to normal.

It's just going to take a couple of days to make sure it was not *just* the meds making her feel better, so she'll be getting peered at quite a lot over the rest of the weekend. She does seem much better though, that would be the magic Hopper vibes again, thanks peeps

Reggie wasn't so good this morning  

She had eaten all her tea last night and begged for treats at bedtime, but this morning she was hunched and uncomfortable and ignoring her breakfast again. She got brought in and given a full range of meds and a syringe feed. She felt very cool, so they have sorted her out one of the hutches in the shed which should stay a bit warmer (she had a snugglesafe last night but didn't seem to use it).

She has eaten a lot of veg and lots of dried bits again, not interested in pellets at the mo. It's obviously just the meds overcoming whatever is wrong with her.

Hudad will take her to the vet tomorrow and see if they will take blood, sedate her for a tooth check and x-ray and put her on some antibiotics, just to cover all bases until any test results are back. Her poops are such a good size and shape when she is eating / pooping that Humum is now strongly suspecting a bacterial infection rather than a blockage.

More vibes might help....
