Vibes for tomorrow please. u/d 2

Annie is going in for her op. And Bruce has to go in at 4.30 to have his teeth checked as he was very grumpy this morning and would not eat his veg.

Metacam and ranitidine has got him back to himself today but I am still having his teeth checked.

Sounds like Bruce isn't getting enough charger wires in his diet

This will shock you Jack, but Bruce hasn't had a single charger wire in his diet, ever!

I have just had a call from the vet nurse. Annie has had her op and had a very large stone removed - apparently they have kept it for me to see! She said Annie is currently sat in the corner of the cage at the vets eyeing everyone very suspiciously.

So one down and one to go.

Well we are all home.

The vet says she can't see any problems with Bruce's teeth so hopefully he just had a mild tummy ache.

The vets offered me Annie's stone. It was the size of a large broad bean! I declined their kind offer to keep it and they are going to keep it for educational purposes. Annie is still quite swollen. I have made up the hospital cage for her and it is lined with vet bed. She will be alone for tonight at least whilst I ensure that she is eating and peeing ok. I have just given her some metacam, although a fair bit of it just dribbled down her chin. So a few more vibes would be appreciated to aid the healing process.

And Flo also had her foot checked and the verdict is no better no worse.

I would also like to apologise - I did not take a pic of the bladder stone.

I'm glad Annie's op went ok. I hope she forgives you soon. Lots of vibes coming her way    

I'm glad Bruce's pesky teef seem ok, too. I hope he perks up soon    

We occasionally (maybe every couple of months) get Layla being quiet of an evening and not wanting noms, neither of which are like Layla at all. The last couple of times she has just had a dose of Metacam with the thought that if she's not back to normal in the morning she'll be off to the vet, and both times she has been fine. She is a gannet for food though, so we can well imagine she gets tummy ache at times. I would imagine Bruce is far more gentlemanly...

Bruce and Flo have been under my feet a lot last night and this morning (I have a few days off). Annie is doing well. She is being a typical pig and is a poo machine. I was concerned last night that the wound was beelding a little and opening up at the top but this morning it has all healed over and is looking really good. I am not convinced that she is peeing enough. I attempted to syringe some water into her this morning but she was having none of it. She set her mouth so that anything you syringed in just dripped out again. She is currently having great fun tunnelling around in a fleece blanket.

She sounds lively enough then? But the wee must be a worry....any sign of any?

Seems like Bruce and Flo have forgiven you then!

She peed last night but I can't see that there had been any more this morning. I have just given a second lot of syringed water so fingers crossed.

This is great news, it is always such a relief. I am very pleased for you love.
