Dougals ear update

Can Dougal please have some top up vibes and nose rubs sent for his check up tomorrow please? I do hope it is healing well , he seems great and he is still beating up the wallpaper and bieng a tinker since    but I am just happy he is happy.I do hope he has not gotten an infeciton or anything with not being able to check it, like Sparky said if he is not showing ohter signs he probably has not but I always worry. Fingers crossed he is fine. i will fell awful if he is not and I have not helped him. also I do not want my baby ill.

He had healed very well and saw that myself too, he was so still for the vet and he did not wriggle when he scooped him up out his carrier either. He said to carry on working on icking him up as now he is neutered once all the testosterone has gone out of his system he will be much calmer, dosile and willing    , wee will see.

I think dougal would have been saying at that monent that is what you and humum think hu? (wink).   , i have not given up on that front anyway.

He does have inflamed ears inside though as he had been scratitng at them a lot again so I put spot on on him, the xeno stuff and he was not as bad but past few days started again so I asked vet if he coulc ehck them and he did and he said they are both inflamed inside but no mites , which is rare for rabbits but we have caught it in time so i am going to give you some ear drops for him to give twice a day, only a small amount. he mentioned that it is for cats and dogs like most drugs are these days for pets as we all know. i said it was okay I know they will be fine, it is like the metacam and he said exactly. Going to try the drops in the bext 10 mins when he is distracted with veggies   . wish me luck and ear healing vibes please for the king.

he no likes the ear drops at all, gonna go bed as soon as caught up on here but before I do I am gonna put ear drops in and he hates them. he shakes his bunny head and flciks and scratches his ears, runs as he knows when I have them, even when he cannot see them lol and as soon as I lift the ear he bolts. He also flicks his back legs in anger when gping past me   .

I feel sorry for him, he has enough with the neuter and now me messing with ear and it has to be for a week twice a day too, joy o joy. Ste tries to distract him for me as he is innocent hudad and does not take Dougal vets to be mamed and left and with ear drops. I am the bad Humum.

How is the poor little love today hun?  I hate itches, I would far rather have pain any day than itches.

He does not seem to be scratching it as much today and he let me put the drops in, well kinda let me Hun. I think he probably has pain too with t#them being swollen but hoping by end sat night he is better. got to put the drops in twice a day til then, but only did it once yesterday as he was full of it as you may have seen on my other thred. He looked like on his head and face are he had been taking a bath in the stuff and today I got an extra dorp in and your not supposed to put too much in so not doing it tongiht, tomorrow and sat going to do it twice. He seems fine otherwise and his neuter wound should be healed a lot as he was doing well with that when vet checcked it saturday.

Poor little bun, he has to out up with a lot lately and thanks for asking hun.

You are very welcome love, it really upsets me kowing that a bun and a bunnymum are suffering.  Poor little chap, I am sending lots of love and healing vibes and please give him a nose rub from his Auntie Jo and tell him he is a very brave little boy.  A big noserub to you to my darling and please keep us updated.

You are very sweet Jo and it is very much appreciated, he took the nose rub form you and gave back a nose kiss, he is very sweet and generous with nose kisses and he appreciates auntie Jo's concern. Now his ears are fine but he has an infeciton on his body on the right hand side, poor little thing, feel so sorry for him. iI have put a post up. Sorry I have not been on as much, just been busy lately. Hope yer well hun and you little hoppers, please give them hugs and nose rubs for me.

  

I'm so glad Dougal's ears are better.  It mush be misery for them.  I'm happy you found out and got them taken care of.  You're an A1 Bunny Slave!

You just know when yer little one has something wrong or seems off dont you? they are very good at hiding it as we all know like with the infection on his side but they just do little things or small changes to them that you notice.

I am indeed, Dougal would not have me if I was not a good bunny slave to him  .

I am sorry to hear about his little side too, he is going through it lately isn;t he and that means you are too? We are all fine here sweets, thank you for asking; Binky Boo is having his afternoon doze at the moment which sounds like a really good idea LOL!!

He is a charmer.

Ye he is poor thing but he must be feeling better than he did as he has been even more lively, happy and playful and does not keep messing with his ears like he did before. Ye I hate seeing him injured or suffering, he is such a little brave and sweet chap.

Ye, wish I could get an afternoon nap, Dougal was having his, he is awake now and about 30 mins ago he has just enjoyed his veggies and herbs.
