Re: Dodge has the all clear:D
been to the vets, he's had pain relief.
They felt for blockages and doesnt think thats the problem as he is pooping a little. He's not eating and his teeth are fine
I have to continue with the belly rubs and infacol. He's back in tomorrow morning

Re: Dodge has the all clear:D
Oh hun... yup keep up the infacol and tummy rubs... you got any fibreplex?
Re: Dodge has the all clear:D
I have a well stocked bunny first aid kit now for any future problems.
Thanks Helen, I hate stressing him out giving him the infacol. He doesn't actually mind the infacol its just the water afterwards. Poor little thing is scared.
I'll just have to keep on doing it and hope for the best.

Re: Dodge has the all clear:D
it's awful syringe feeding them when they won't take it. I had to give jack that science recovery stuff after her dental ops and she just wouldnt ake it. once it was in her mouth she'd swallow but i felt like the most awful person in the world forcing it on her.
you're doing it for the best though, don't beat yourself up.
let's hope it shifts it and he does a poo the size of a housebrick soon

Re: Dodge has the all clear:D
A little update.
Dodge is still no better, he seems pretty dazed.
Vets have given him fluids under the skin, antibiotics, antiinflamitories, metacam, fibreplex and he is now on science recovery. He has had his teeth checked again and there is nothing that they can see and e will need to go under GA for them to investigate further.
Please can I have some vibes for my little man

Oh poor little chap
When you say he seems 'dazzed' was that after the most recent lot of meds?
He may have had an opiate analgesic which will make him really spaced out. If you were given an itemised receipt it should say what drugs he's had. Vetergesic or Torbugesic are both opiates.
I hope he starts to feel better soon

Re: Dodge has the all clear:D
We have him home and he's just done a little run around the living room and is currently munching on asmall amount of spring greens.
He seems a little perkier now I'm still going to continue the science recovery and the belly rubs though. Little fella is back in the vets tomorrow morning
