In need of some advice
Willow and Mojo are not friends at the moment - at all
They are constantly nipping/chasing/humping one another, and Mojo is beginning to bully Willow. Whenever I open the door Wills runs straight out and sits in the hallway. There is masses of Willow's fur all over the room, and every time I go in there the floor is a sea of poops and puddles of wee.
They do go through fazes like this but they normally only last a few days, and this is getting on for the best part of a week now, and getting worse...
Any advice?
They both have their own litter trays, own hideys, own food bowls etc...
JUST WHEN I THOUGHT THINGS WERE GOING WELL AGAIN!

Re: In need of some advice
I'm not sure I have much advice but I hope they stop fighting soon and make up. When Patch and daisy fought, it got worse when they were allowed more space in the garden. Do you think it could be a territory thing? Or is one of them a bit off, maybe a moult can make them grumpy sometimes.

I have no experience with pairs but I am sending rebonding vibes for Willow and Mojo. This must be so stressful for you, so for you and I hope everything sorts itself out soon.

Re: In need of some advice
Thanks guys
Willow is the only one moulting (Mojo is bald, after all!), and she is the one being bullied. If she was the one being grumpy and mean I'd say it was a possibility, but it doesn't appear that way.
I hope they sort it out soon - apart from anything else I am so fed up of cleaning up loose hair, a million poops and scrubbing wee puddles every time I go in the room

Re: In need of some advice
Bearing in mind they've not been back in that room long, plus they have to get used to the smell of the Chins, I'd be inclined to go to an earlier bonding step and reduce their space for a while.
The toileting all over the place makes it sound like they are not sure of their territory. Are the Chins exercising in the room at all, on a bit that Wills and Mojo then go onto later?
How do they behave if you spend some time in there with them, not interacting with them but perhaps reading and quietly observing?

Re: In need of some advice
I did question whether it was a chin thing. The chins exercise all over the space that the buns have, and the buns go out in the hallway whilst the chins are out.
Unfortunately, there is no other area for the chins to exercise and they do need to come out. I wonder if everyone's smells are getting mixed up and there is some confusion over territory? The majority of pee/poop is in front of the barrier which stops the chins seeing/getting at the buns and vice versa.
If this is the case, will reducing space do any good?

Re: In need of some advice
I have recently moved the G.P.s in and it has not made one iota of difference to the buns.
I am wondering whether this is related to Willow not being spayed - I wonder whether it is just one of those times of the year and because Willow has all of her hormones intact she takes it worse than most does. Bruce can be pretty relentless with Flo at times. I would suggest putting in extra hidey holes with only one entrance so that she can defend herself more easily if she chooses.

Re: In need of some advice
I am almost positive that these normal episodes were due to Willow's hormones, I was just starting to get slightly concerned as they didn't normally drag it out for as long.
Anyway, I got in from work today and found them cuddling in a litter tray so I hope the worst of it is over

I have everything crossed that Mojo and Willow have settled down. I know how stressful it can be when a bond goes awry xx

They've sort of settled but they're on/off - sometimes they're cuddling and other times they're grunting and humping
