Gabriel - eugh! Empty Gabriel - eugh!

Post by Sixer Wed Nov 27, 2013 8:22 pm

I had hoped Gabe had lost interest in the large hole he had dug in his run but this morning he vanished completely into it. When he reappeared his face and paws were covered in mud but worse than that was something that looked very much like a large slug stuck to his side pale pale pale pale pale pale

Given I have a bit of a phobia about slugs I almost screamed. With Chris being away I had no option but to try to remove it pale Thankfully when I approached Gabriel with a twig he scooted down the tunnel to his shed and when he popped out of the other end he had managed to displace the slug. The attachment to Gabriel has added to my dislike of them.

Half ten in the morning seemed a bit early for a stiff drink Laughing

Eeeeeuwgh pale pale pale

Humum hates slugs too pale

You can't really whack it with a shovel when it's on the side of a bunny, can you? Wink

I'm glad he got rid of it for you. Although knowing Gabe, he probably came up with it on purpose in the first place Laughing

Oh no, oh no, oh no pale pale pale

I can just about cope with teeny tiny ones but the big ones, especially the pale variety freak me out. Did you know they can retract their horns? I didn't until recently when I had to ask a friend to remove one from our utility room.

I know they are a nuisance and have to be dealt with but they do not deserve to be tortured  They cannot help what they are.
