Charlie the Wife Beater....again

Well the little beast has really badly bitten her.

He did it the friday before christmas - well thats the day I found it. I suspect he did it a couple of days earier but she hid it and it became infected.

They were booked into johns anyway as i went to Kent for a few days. I collected the them the day before xmas eve to be told that it was too bad to stitch. Since then we have been to and fro Andover getting it cleaned out. She is on abx but its really not nice and Im quite worried it might abscess. Poor girl.

Charlie is of course, the picture of a loving husbun once again, even going so far as to groom her (until he sees he's been seen) and Annie continues to just adore every hair on his furry self.

Im going to take her up on Saturday (unless I need to go before) and get it checked on.

Please could we have some vibes in the mean time for it to clear up nicely....and for Charlie to keep his wifebeating ways in check from now on.

I think it was a combination of things.....he was due a dental and was prob uncomfortable - plus the dreadful weather meant he was miserable. He was of course free to leave the bunny shed any time, but he just sat staring out of the hatch at the rain with a miserable look on his face - and then took it out on poor Annie.

Loads of vibes for Annie. Charlie needs to put himself on the very norty step.

Mega vibes for the beautiful and precious Annie. Praying that the bite will heal cleanly and there be no complications. Also vibes that their bond will hold and that he will be a loving husbun and not take anything out on her again.   

The little so and so. Why oh why do these creatures have to be so complicated. Sending loads of vibes that Annie heals quickly.

My buns hate the wet windy weather too. BJ is being very grumpy at the moment and nipped me yesterday when he thought I was going to relieve him of the willow toy I had just put in his shed.

Oh Charlie!!!! You baaaad boy! You are very lucky Santa Paws came to you at all!!

Poor Annie I hope she's all healed soon and Charlie doesn't ever do it again!

Poor little Annie, I bet she wonders what she has done wrong. Naughty Charlie, no treats for you my boy. I hope her little wound is healing well.

She is doing really well bless her. Although she's not a fan of me at the moment cos I'm always grabbing her and flipping her over.
Luckily she is dim and will have forgotten about it soon :-)

She is just fine thanks Jo. Im going to call John tomorrow with an update but it seems to have healed up just fine.....its all flat too, no swelling so I dont think there is any infection in there. Im just going to check how much longer i need to keep going with the abx.

Im hoping the weather sorts itself out soon, he is miserable in all this rain.

I'm SO glad it healed cleanly! This is such wonderful news~~
