Charlie might get a wife

My close friends daughter got a rabbit a while back, which really got under my skin, as know she didnt know what she was in for. Well shes not cleaning her out, leaving her mum to do it, as bad as it is shes keeping her in the jenny rat cage, with no toys or space to play with them, I bit my lip the other day when I went to see her, poor buns to thin, not with lack of food but with lack of muscle mass from having limited space to play, she gets out in the livingroom but her 4 year old wont give the bunny piece plus there big dog tries to play with her, she has threatened her daughter, do something right by this rabbit or lynn is taking her for charlie. I cant see the lass changing, I love her like a niece, but know what shes like. Told her if shes to much we will take her, even hubby agrees, which didnt expect as he doesnt really wont a 6th bunny after loosing 4 of our fur babies in the last year (bella, wee rat & both piggies) but he is a big softy.

That is tragic. It's hard to know what to do in situations like this, when your friends feelings are part of it too. At least your friend acknowledges her daughter is not taking care of it, but sadly she really is too young. You're doing the right thing by adopting the bunny. If only people researched before getting a pet.

Shes no too young, thats the thing, shes 18 be 19 in feb. Shes not really been brought up with many pets, where as my 18 year old has, he also worked in fife animal park, cleaning & feeding all the animals except the bear, he wasn't allowed to for safety. He looked after the monkeys, small furries, meerkats. So he is very hands on with animals & their care, so is our other son, they both understand the work involved, my daughter is opposite tho, cuddles the pets & plays with them but cleaning them is like am telling her to clean a full zoo park way she acts. So she wont be getting her own till she has her own house & learns to keep it clean unlike her room. Must be a teen girl thing.

So did I!   I hope that you get the bunny or the girl suddenly matures and cares for the bunny. The sweet bunny's limbs may not be straight either from being into a small cage. Rory's were all bent.

She has a 4 year old, the bunny was in her sisters bedroom but shes never home so m8 took her in the livingroom offered her the piggies double cage but she cant fit anything bigger in the space.

I do hope you have her love, to say she would be much better off is an understatement.  Poor little love, these things infuriate me so much.

Not had chance to chat, think we have both been real busy. I have been making the wreaths from old christmas trees, vet asked for couple, local wool shop asked for 1 plus few friends asked, and one that never bothers her behind to pick the 1 she wants up, no for lack of money there pretty well off. Made this out of the tree bits
