is soybean oil safe for rabbits?
I got Dougal these and I will only give them now and again like any treats like these, is soybean oil safe as it has it in and does anyones else give their buns these? just want to make sure they are safe first.

Wow. talk about mixed answers when i looked this up! maybe it depends on the amount. one article it suggested that it depended on which part of the plant the oil was from. guess it can come from different parts.

We have got those.....
They love them but only get them once a week.
I think as with all other stuff the dose makes the poison.
If there is evidence that they are no good at all will you please share and they get struck off the menu?!?

I have no idea, tried looking it up but cannot find anything useful. I might just leave them just incase, he has his other carrot crunchers anyway unless anyone else has any answers?

I think soy is poisonous in it's natural state but when processed it is ok. You'll find soybean oil in a lot of pellets - both science selective and excel have it in.

Wow, I gave Dougal a parsnip one and he nommed it well fast and I think he was actuallyu saying nom nom nom whilst eating it .
Dougal will kiss you too for letting us know they are safe and clearing that up for us.
