Re: Toffee & Fudge
Hi Rob!
How completely brilliant to hear from you? how are the rest of the gang?
Yet again I am astonished at how awful some human beings are. Thank goodness you have them now and they have just struck bunny gold. What does Ruffin think of the new arrivals :-)
Cant wait to have a good catch up.
Im sorry to hear that you lost your little guys, but they are lucky enough to have known an amazing life with you guys in the time they had.
Again, its lovely to hear from you x x

Toffee & Fudge
The little monsters wont stand still but will get more picks very soon The pick I really wanted was Toffee and Fudge laid in the hay fast asleep with Danndy the GP who is larger than the bunns. Toffee is the lighter color and more timid however it is her that keeps going through the tunnel to the run entrance but up to now thats as far as she gets

Re: Toffee & Fudge
Hi Katie we lost Timmy a while ago then Bobby sadly but ended up with another Piggy called Dandy she is one of Daisys daughters and never stops queeking but since she been here Daisy hasnt queeked much think he woried that child support may catch him for back money. Jaz is fine Rosie is just as dim and clumsy as ever she cant manage to jump about without landing in her food or water bowl or most times landing on Jim. Had a very scary time with Jim about a month ago, he had seemed lathargic for a couple of days I went in to give them supper on the Wed evening and he was just laid out no movement at all. i picked him up which he wouldnt usualy let me do and laid in my arms his eyes were closed I held him for an hour with tears running down my face looked at him and couldnt see him breathing any more I said goodby to him best I could took him out of the hutch to lay him in the garage overnight in a box as I was laying him down his back legs flicked slightly so put him back into the hutch with his true love Rosie. I left them to say goodbye Got up at 3 am and went into the garage knowing what I would find a bright eyed Jim jumping about as if to say feed me I missed me supper last nite totaly baffled the vet as well

Re: Toffee & Fudge
I have merged the two threads as they cross reference each other.
I agree with Katie - it's great to have you back Rob.
I definitely don't think you have new zealands there Rob. New Zealands are large pure white buns with red eyes. I also don't think you have rexes as they are a bit fluffy. I think it's most likely that what you have is a couple of English Spots and very cute there are too!

Re: Toffee & Fudge
Very cute baby buns
I think that they are probably cross breed buns - they fur doesn't look typically Rex. Are they both girls? If you are not sure - and I know I wouldn't be able to, a trip to the vets may be an idea just in case you have a girl and boy.

Re: Toffee & Fudge
I did this too, even though it was the SSPCA vet that sexed Molly and Junior. I think we sometimes just need to hear it with our own ears. I was so scared they'd mature and fall out of if they were both boys.Sixer wrote:
