Litter help please - Can I use this?
I've run out of Back 2 Nature as I'm waiting for it to be delivered!
OH was going to asda anyway so I asked him to pick up a bag of wooden cat litter to keep us going. Goodness knows what this is that he's bought
The ingredients are:
Fullers earth, Limestone aggregate mix [fullers earth, limestone aggregate]
Anyone know whether I can use this or not??
Thank you!

Not a 100% sure but fullers earth usually contains bentonite if spelled correctly and this is part of powder substance which can clogg when digested??! Mhmmm, have you got spare news paper and straw that could see you through?
Don't want to scare but if an alternative is available until your delivery turns up I feel I would prefer this.
Bless OH for the shopping though.

Thank you both. Yes it does say clumping? Does this mean no? I should know this, I'm completely brain dead
I have enough back to nature to do us through tomorrow. Praying the delivery turns up!

Re: Litter help please - Can I use this?
Thanks. I'll give it to next door for their cat!! I didn't realise it said clumping when I first posted! Had I thought about it long enough I should have realised it was no good!
You know, I actually have 3/4 of a bag of megazorb in my shed but I'm resisting taking it in because that bag stinks like cow poo! Goodness knows why I even kept it! I think I'll have to dig it out tho if the delivery doesn't arrive tomorrow. Thank you for the offer tho

I guess it was put in shed for times such as this... Ho hum...
There's nothing wrong with it, just the packaging makes it stink now they've changed it from the old sacks.

Re: Litter help please - Can I use this?
Thumper, the good news is that we have not had a stinky bag of Megazorb for ages. Either we have been lucky or they have sorted the issue out. If you have a spare litter tray, spread some of the Megazorb out in it in the shed and the odour should dissipate.
Hopefully your other stuff has arrived and it's no longer an issue

Re: Litter help please - Can I use this?
Thanks Sparky Good news that the bags haven't been stinky! Letting the bag I have air out in the she'd is a good idea! I'll remember that for next time because the Back 2 Nature was delivered this morning
(And I've found a new home for the cat litter )

Glad you got your back to nature, it is brilliant stuff isnt it hun? we use it for Dougal. Luckily our pet shop has them and they do it cheaper than onine and anywhere else I have seen. It is a fantastic pet shop.

Re: Litter help please - Can I use this?
Don't use it Thumper if it say's clumping, one of my customers rabbit's has died after eating a clumping cat litter , it had a blockage and it's tummy was full of it
We still use megazorb I find it only smells funny or different when it's wet, Mike say's it's me ( not that smells ) he can't smell anything and think's it's just me.

Re: Litter help please - Can I use this?
I have Dotty and Cleo in a big huge indoor cage here in my office and they are on megazorb and I get whiffs every now and then and I think it smells different.
I actually had to get out of the office one day as the smell of it made me want to be sick, but Mike keeps saying it doesn't smell at all.

11.99 for 30l and no of course I do not mind you asking hun. I used to get it online a few quid dearer than that and once I saw my pet shop had started getting it in I get it from there now. I have just seen pet supermarket have got it at 11.99 too now, it used to be more expensive, but pet supermarket is brilliant too, especially with free postage, I did get it from there but now I do not have to wait for it to come but it is a good fallback to get it from.
Mine smelt like dung too hun, awful. I do not use is at all now as dougal has fleeces in his cage as he barely goes in it and has back 2 nature in his litter tray.

Thanks for this, I will check out pet supermarket
P@H are charging £18 for the 30L bag now. I've a few suggestions as to where they can shove that...
