Hi we bought Buns a super new hutch for garden and this will be 3rd night slept in it - it is a hutch run combo. He seems quite happy in there, however he doesn't go up the ramp to the bit where his food or sleep section is! We have been putting him in that bit of a night so he knows what it is for but as far as we know, he doesn't use it. I have had to move his food downstairs as am worried about him not eating! Also I can't seem to see where he has pood or weed in new place at all - should I be worried? He seems okay in himself, he isn't quiet or anything, still runs about like a nutter when he has the freedom of garden etc when we here. Do you think he just needs time to get used to it?

Any advice or comments welcome.

Ta.

He's probably just settling in, I bet he's up and down those stairs when you are asleep!! Do you use a potty for him at all?

Hi hun ! Thought I would reply so you could see my username.

Hope Bunny settles in ok. We have a hutch with a run and it took Lola and Lotta about two days to go downstairs, lol.

They seem to poo/wee down there too.

Hi - My bun doesn't "go" in his hutch either - he holds it till I let him out at 6:00 then he dashes to the place in the garden where he poos. Laughing I am fine with that- nothing to clear up in the hutch. Laughing

Hiya I looked this morning and no sign of any poo anywhere in new hutch - obviously can't see wee. Is it possible they hold it? I may put a litter tray in hutch as we have a spare one, maybe he prefers it?

Perhaps he prefers toiletting indoors tee hee
