Vibes for Willow please U/D Doing better :D

The buns had a nail clipping/check up tonight and unfortunately Wills has lost 200g since her last weigh in

The vet had a look at her teeth and can't see any spurs, but to get a proper look she'll need to be knocked out and that's not great news...

She's given us a 14 day course of antibiotics 'just in case'. She's still eating, drinking and pooping normally and is a happy girl (although not tonight after her vet visit!), and so we're hoping, as it so often has done, that the Baytril will help any possible causes of weight loss. We can't determine what causes it without running expensive tests. I did always assume a link between the peeing and weight loss etc, but I'm not so convinced now. I'm sure the peeing is 100% territorial behaviour.

Anyway, can I have some positive vibes please that she improves with the Baytril and we don't have to put her under. Thanks guys

Sparky - it is going in alright on Fenugreek Crunchies for the moment. I think she'll have started refusing it in a few days though, when the novelty of 2-3 crunchies a night wears off

I hope she can avoid a GA and that she gains weight soon. Is there any possibility that she is cold? I know 200g is a lot, I know it would be for my guys, but all my buns have lost weight this winter as it's been so cold. ...I don't know,  in just taking a stab in the dark at some obvious explanations xxx

She's absolutely fine in herself Jo, and is still happily taking her meds and causing trouble!

We will have to see what the scales say when she goes for a follow up. Will keep you updated xxx
