Aw the poor thing I am glad she seems a bit brighter.
People need to get their effin dogs under control and damned right they should pay the vet bill!

Update 13.03
Hello to all hoppers.
Thank you so much for all your vibes, support, patience, nose rubs and hugs.
They are appreciated.
We have been to the vet for a check up.
They were impressed how clean the wound are and how much the swelling has subsided:thumb:
Lucy( the new young lady vet ) had a good look in her mouth and couldn'tsee any wound or marks. She agreed with me on the metacam dose and said. This is painful just give her what she needs. Good vet!
She is pooing although last night they were tiny tiny ones so out comes the metocloperamide on top of all other stuff and things.
She then had a a massive wee! Great unfortunately whilst I was holding her and I got soaked:roll:
Later she sat with me licking my hands( I have had a shower but his time) being a sweet buny girl.
She continues to take cc from the syringe and has managed to eat her liquidised greens from a spoon.
I'm a little nervous as I will have to leave Monday morning very early to travel to Portsmouth and attend a train the trainer course for manual handling. Staying away for the night Howad kindly agreed to look after the bunnies whilst I'm away. We are currently sorting our relationship and I didn't want to leave my neighbour with the task of looking after two ill ones. The course is expensive and my nursing agency has paid for it so cancelling wasn't an option either.
I just hope she continue use to improve.
I informed animal shelter today as well asking whether they could give me some tips.
They recommended to give her carrots?!?
Anyway I'm off now to do my evening round in the infirmary and will catch up with you folks later

Re: Vibes for D'Layla please after dog attack update 19.03
Hello dear friends!
I can't report any changes really.
She still hides most of the time but will great me when I come in, even giving me nose kisses.
She is desperately trying to eat "normal" food but for whatever reason can't manage and will let solid stuff drop out of her mouth.
Tried to grate veg today and she managed a little bit but seemed to get tired? In pain? So tonight I Blended her greens and she was able to take it of her little plastic spoon.
I have observed that Vernon will sniff and lick her poorly ear and than chase her back into the hidey.
I have the feeling that the healing will take some time. Bless her!

Re: Vibes for D'Layla please after dog attack update 19.03
Perhaps there is some nerve/muscle trauma around the ear/jaw area that is stopping her eating solids. Also if she feels anything, even the slightest twinge of pain, whilst eating it could bring flash back memories of the attack. She will need time, poor love.
Is Vernon still grooming and supporting her?

Oh bless her. I wonder if she may benefit from some Rescue Remedy or a more specific flower essence.

Another update, good news!
If I could I would do Binky's and plenty of them!
I woke up at 18.30 after crashing out on the sofa following my night duty and a busy morning schedule with the bunsters.
Gave out the evening portion of pellets and D'Layla tried again to eat them but couldn't manage. So I took one and briefly dunked it into the water bowl and after it had softened gave it to her and she managed!
So all the others got soaked too and she eat the hole portion:dance:
Will attempt to give the veg grated in a moment and see how we go.
It would help as I'm off in the morning and Howard will look after them. Not feeling very comfortable with this but deffo looking forward to meet some bunnies and their slavesin Portsmoth

I have got all 38 remedies here and was thinking of preparing her a specific remedy. So that list will come in handy will do this after feeding and litter trays and me having a shower......
