He has gone off his food and metacam and critical care has not remedied the situation.we are off to the vets to get him checked over.

Any news on Bruce?

When we got to the vets his stomach was empty and his tempetature low. He had a ranitidine and baytril injections at the vets and he was just rolling the critical care out if the side of his mouth when I tried to syringe him when I got home. With a heavy heart I went into work knowing that he would like either eat or not and my staring at him would not help the situation. He is much  brighter since i've come home and has wolfed down a fengugreek crunchy so he can't be that ill now.

I am so glad he is okay now.

Hope Bruce is continuing to improve xx

Yes he's OK.

He was super chirpy this morning. He is spending a lot of time laid out in a super chilled way which is frankly freaking me a little. He is accepting all food except his oxbow joint treats which is odd. I am not 100% convinced by his recovery but hevis generally OK.

Did the vet found a reason  for this sudden "blip"?

There is the possibility of a spur, but it is minute. AndIhe does normally get a low temperature with teeth issues.
