Molly has had 2 dentals in her life. One in December and one in April.

4 months apart.

It is now September.

5 months since the last one.

And no sign of hay consumption dropping at all Happy Dance

Here's hoping the changes I made have put her teeth back on track!!!!

(Also hoping this post doesn't tempt fate Laughing )

Carpets keep you teeth down. Sounds like an advertising song!

Nah. She was prone to a good carpet chew prior to the last two dentals Laughing

I get a bit obsessive about the amount of hay Henners consumes. I'm always listening out for that distinctive hay chomping sound, it's so different from the crunching of pellets. He has his hay in the dining room (naturally) and in the evening when I'm in the sitting room I listen for the chomping; I'm so obsessed I'm even getting to distinguish the sound of him eating different hays ... honest, I can tell oat, wheat and barley from meadow hay. Not always sure between orchard grass and timothy though.
Henry had small spurs on two of his left side molars when I got him last year (25/11) and the vet Wendy Adams, said to get him on a good, predominantly hay diet and she thought he would be okay. Almost ten months on and (fingers crossed) he's doing okay. So keep on chomping Molly, that hay is good for your tushies.

I am so glad all is continuing to go well lovey, everything crossed for the future.  When we had carpets Woodwench love it was dreadful.  We had a manic bunny then called Mr Snuffles and we went around chewing big holes in the carpet everywhere he went. That is why we now have vinyl floors and i actually much prefer the cosiness of carpet.
