Teeth! Empty Teeth!

Post by c.bolduan Sun Oct 25, 2015 11:09 am

Not sure what's going on here. I realised D'Layla is drinking more and chewing things she hasn't yet. Checked her over last night and found her teeth off line. The bottom previously sittin straight under the top. Have shifted to the left.top incisors wearing down on a slope. Long term metacam might not help to display any pain. Guess we are phoning the vet tommorow for advice.
This sweet bunny doesn't need any more troubles. There are no wounds or bleeding but she doesn't like me looking at it at all.No
Eating like Hercules as she law aus does which could be a side effect of her seizure drugs........................
Sending love toKatie B! Here we go. What's normal what's not. Do I  need to worry? Phone the vet?
Poos are smallish but not unusual.
I'm off to the rabbit hole.
See you later!

She is sweet as ever. I had another look today which she didn't like. It looks to me like one bottom incisor is missing. The lower yaw seems to have shifted to the let. Top incisors have worn down uneven like a slope. She is eating normal food but doesnt want hay or any bigger pieces. Will call the vet tomorrow.

Teeth! Empty Update 28.10

Post by c.bolduan Wed Oct 28, 2015 3:22 pm

Well what can I say about this bunny girl.
I phoned the vet and he wanted to see her so sweeper her off the ground and went.

Vet took a close look and found that her right lower incisiors had broken off😕SuspectHissy
I can not explain when or how this happened. He checked the back teeth too and they are fine.
The front tooth will regrow but likely to be sore and feel different in her mouth.
This however did not stop her of being a Norty bun.
She has got a jam jar with treats ( fenugreek crunchies, corrotys, fibre first and alfalfa rings in her room. Last night the jar was full sitting on the food trolley, this morning however the jar was on the floor, lid opened (glad her tooth was missing already, I had realised this last night) and half of the content of her treat jar had vanished. I looked all over and couldn't find any. She seemed quite pleased with her self.ShockedNoROFL

Sorry i missed this claudia.

Im glad she is ok? I wonder how on earth her tooth just broke? Any ideas?

Daisys teeth are mis aligned slightly in the fromt although they wear down evenly.

How is she doing in herself now?
