He's had a very quiet day today. Sleeping most of the time. He's eaten well but there's been no naughtiness. He was happy by the fire though.

Today was much like yesterday.
Yes, Jo, he does have the odd moment of naughtiness, not very often and not for very long but
enough to reassure me he's still my Henners.

He was very lovey-dovey last night, I didn't get much sleep as he was demanding nose rubs most of the night and was up and demanding nuggets at 6-30. He settled to sleep at 10am but was up and eager for his wild forage at 1-30 and his toast at 5.
I have noticed over the last few days he often makes a noise when eating, but it doesn't seem to affect his appetite. He's also taken to sleeping with his chin resting on any available item to raise his head a little and so help his breathing.... that's not a good sign.

He's had a busy day today. Had me up and preparing his brekky at 6-30 and he was roaming round until about 10 then he had a couple of hours napping before an extended lunch of nuggets and forage. He kipped another couple of hours then "helped" me fill the log basket and kindling box.... it takes twice as long with his "help".
He's been toing and froing between rooms this evening and as just finished his late night veggies and is asleep in front of the fire.

Yes, Jo, Henry was a real little helper (not!) He has had a funny day today. He chose his litter tray as his "spot of the day" and slept there until early evening. He did keep hopping out for food and drink ... which has left a right mess on the carpet, megazorb everywhere!.
Hope he decides on a less messy and less dirty spot to kip tomorrow.

Yes, it's good to see a flicker of the old Henry spark. But he is looking older and I treasure every bit of mischeif he gets up to....
Today was much like yesterday except he slept later this evening (and I did allow for the time difference).

A very sleepy day after an early breakfast. I went out in the storm around mid-day and picked him a dish of grass and forage. He gobbled most of it up then slept until toast time at 5pm. He's been playing and napping all evening with an half hour in his tray scoffing some fresh Timothy hay. Then he dug tomorrows kindling all over the hearth rug and went to sleep in the middle of it!
I'm so glad he's having this happy time and I feel I did right making the decision to stop all meds and not have the tests done. He is very much like the Henry I first brought home from the Ark, older, slower and not so active, but still as clever and cheeky and loving.
My boy, my big hearted Henry.

Katie: He is being loved rotten... and so am I, he's smothering me with bun-luv.
Kobikiki: He's as happy as I can make him, enjoying his food and naps by the fire and when he fancies a game he is always indulged (my ankles have never been so nipped!).
