Ah right. I though you could only have breeds their own size together. Ok Ill think about it. He was throwing his litter tray around again this morning and he was free to run around as he pleased but I wasn't there as I was in the bath (trusting him to behave). He did but he just had ago at his litter tray so he obviously doesn’t like being on his own. He is bigger then a french lop, well his longer.

A large mini lop would be fine I expect, or if you want something a bit bigger (but not a giant) then a dwarf lop shouldn't be a problem.

I would say he would be fine with a 'medium' sized rabbit, around the 2-2.5kg mark but it would need to be an adult because he might accidentally cause some harm to a small, delicate baby.

I have seen Frenchies bonded with Nethies but I think the size difference there is a little extreme to be totally safe.

could you not get a rescue medium size rabbit, see if they have any well behaved buns needing homes?

regarding litter tray throwing my bun mowgli used to do this it was just his trait, now we use a corner litter tray it has holes in back so we put cable tie through it now tie it to the crate and no ore probs

Have I read this thread right, you have a young papillion rabbit and he is kept in a 6 x 3 pen? or does he live in something else? and he lives alone?
