I Feel Sick - UPDATE :(

I can't stop thinking about tomorrow.
I'm absolutely petrified about Ghostie's spay tomorrow.
I'm getting butterflies and like having little panic things, like what if it's her last night... i know i'm probably being a complete and utter idiot... but... please can she have some >>VIBEZZZ<< for tomorrow.
Please think of my baby tomorrow, i'm worried for her, i had a little cry

I was a nervous wreck today.
Have good news though - she's okay
I was bricking when i had to listen to the message, she went on and on, and then said nothing to worry about but... and i was like OH MY GOD ... but they wanted to keep her in, but i knew that anyway!

So relieved and can't wait to have her back tomorrow!

Vets just rang....
Ghostie had air into her womb and when they took it out it, the womb took out it tore part of her stomach lining.
I'm freaked out.
They didn't tell me this , they wanted to tell my mum.
They say she's fine, but i'm thinking why was air in her womb?
She's on antibiotics and has stitches..

Reet worried.

If it helps any, Holly was on antibiotics after the operation too. She had stitches too and was glued. She was very dozy when I got her home but was fine the next day just a little quiet. You need to get them to eat a little something, usually something they love. Holly didn't eat much but was peeing and pooing so I knew she was fine.

If you're worried, give the vets a phone and ask them to explain the significance of what they told your mum.

when my mum said to me: we need to talk about Ghostie, i felt physically sick and burst into tears..

If the vet says there is nothing to worry about then you sort of have to take her at her word or you will go mad with worry

Awww, sorry I managed to miss this thread, hun. I know EXACTLY how you felt when she was going for her spay......spay/neuter time for any of my buns has always turned me into a complete emotional wreck.....I worry SO much, and nothing that anyone says to me makes it any better! I am SO happy that she came through her spay okay, and please DO try to take comfort in the vet saying not to worry.....I am sure they would have told you if she was in real danger. I expect they just want to keep an extra-close eye on her. I have NO idea why she would have air in her womb.....maybe Jane will have an idea when she comes on?

I will be anxiously waiting for updates on your beautiful Ghostie.....and I am sure that very soon you will be kissing her little grey nose! :luv: ::BIG hugs:: xxxxx

She was quite lovey with Toffee but now it getting quite grumpy (usual self with him )
