Re: What do we do about Jack?
Had to come back & reply to this, got me as well I know it feels as though your hearts are breaking, but that just proves what a special little girl Jack was. And also, how much love surrounded her. I have written this out so many times now Im just going to admit that I have no words for you & just to let you know that you are all in my thoughts, I am devestated for you and that Jack is at peace now and you have done the right thing. Sleep tight sweetheart XX

Re: What do we do about Jack?
Thank you Becki.
Words don't stop it hurting any less but I am amazed that so many people have responded so well. She truly was one amazing little girl and I just can't believe she is gone forever

Re: What do we do about Jack?
..............she may have gone from this world but she will never EVER have gone from your hearts.
NoBun really dies as long as we remember them and I KNOW you will never forget Jack.
No, the pain of loss does not go away. It eventually becomes a dull ache that we learn to live with. Sometimes in the months and years ahead something will act as a 'trigger' and the pain will hit us again full force. But we also have times of remembering that we were so priviledged to have an extra special bond with an extra special Rabbit.
You gave Jack the gift of freedom from struggling and fighting a battle she could never win. I know how agonising it is to have to make that decision, but I also know it was the right decision to make.

I am just going to sit at her grave now and tell her how well loved she was
Re: What do we do about Jack?
Thinking of you both, and Jack too. I wish there was some way of helping, but I know that only time can do that, and even then it will never truly go away - I still cry for my Harvey, but can also think of him with such love and happiness that he gave me so much in the time I was lucky enough to have him in my life.
Sweet Jack is now in a lovely place, with Princess Caramel and Harvey, and all the other bunnies we've had to let go, and she is waiting for the day when you can join her.
Take care, and I think Jack will come and visit you in a dream in the next few weeks, to let you know she's OK and that she's waiting for you.

Please don't apologise SJ!
And thank you all for saying such lovely things. It still hurts so much but I know it can't go on forever...
We are printing off lots of photos of her to be framed, which helps a little.

I'm so sorry for your loss, but as Jane said she will always live on in your hearts.
