Hello, good evening and welcome!
Not sure whether I should use David Frost's quote to introduce myself, but it's as good as any I suppose! Recently a few people asked about who I was and where I had sprung up from.
Firstly, I'm James, 42, most of my own teeth, all my own hair (just a little grayer than it used to be). Live with my lovely wife (sorry girls) and two wonderful boys. My wife is the one who keeps the rabbits - two of them at the moment, but I'm sure she's on the lookout for a few more!
I work in clinical management within the NHS and keep myself busy by designing websites for ex-service charities, watching obscure films and eating too much fine food.
I have fairly eclectic tastes in music, love the Lake District fells and a nice red wine. My views tend to be slightly hippy, sandal-wearing Guardianista types on some things, ranging to the rabidly fascist on others, give it time and you may actually find out which is which! Over time, I hope that you will come to recognise that most of my posts are not meant with mischief making, but may actually be thought provoking and can actually shake some pre-conceived ideas - something I'm sure you must admit will be a good thing.

Re: Hello, good evening and welcome!
Excellent! You will do.
So glad that you have made your formal introduction as you certainly arrived with a bang.
We like thought provoking and I am just about sandal tolerant (I work with an ageing hippy type who is so incredibly intelligent and well read).
Glad to hear that there are no dentures - I used to work with someone whose only qualification for a future husband was that he must have his own teeth. You would certainly have fitted the bill - if you weren't already spoken for.
We look forward to your further erudite posts on a variety of issues and topics and remember our expectations are now very high!

Hello James and welcome to Happy Hoppers. Try not to provoke my thoughts too much, as my poor addled old brain can't really take it any more. But never mind, I'll do what I usually do, sit on the sidelines and let the rest of you get on with it.
