Rupert - U/D Saturday evening - looking good

Sorry to ask but can I have some vibes for our gorgeous 10 year old Rupert, he went in to see Paula this morning to have two huge jaw abcesses removed, one was right through to the bone and the other was slightly smaller and not so deep, he came through the operation very well and is on lots of medication and of course I am syringe feeding him, please send him some get well vibes,

Rupert has taken a turn for the worse today and has gone downhill, I am praying so hard that he comes through this but I am so worried for him, I just wish there was more I could do

Theo I am so sorry to hear about this. I know how seriously ill he must be and hope that he pulls through. It was my dread when Felix was ill. Sending lots of vibes to your wee boy. xx

No improvement overnight and I am very, very concerned for our big brave boy, he looks so tired, he is going in to see Paula this morning, I really hope she can work a miracle, we have had such a rough time lately and I feel drained

Thank you everyone for asking after Rupert, he spent the day in the vets so that Paula could assess him properly and she is pleased with his progress so far, he has now started to nibble carrot tops and broccoli for himself, he is still on all of his medication, I am hoping and praying that we can get him through this, he is glad to be home.

Thanks everyone, the problem that I have is that I just cannot get him to eat for himself, he's nibbled carrot tops and had a bit of broccoli but nothing else, if I don't syringe him then he just won't eat

Argh this is so frustrating as if he is anything like mine he will get stressed out being syringe fed but you have no choice.
