Indoor NIC cage Empty Indoor NIC cage

Post by Michaela Mon Jul 07, 2008 3:57 am

This is Maddie's NIC cage, she doesn't actually spend very much time in it though, haha, she's always out running around. ^^

Does anyone else have one? I would definitely advise them to anyone going for a house rabbit. I have tried the dog crate route and just didn't like it. (Have also done free roaming without a cage but she was too destructive according to mum, I didn't mind that all my books were getting chewed up. Wink ) So versatile, can be built to fit any space, and make a very big cage in a smaller floor area. Very Happy And, erm, please excuse the pinkness of my room. XD If you could see the rest of it... Thanks! Very Happy

They cost around £22 a box, 24 grids in a box, my cage is 48 grids. £44 for a big cage like this isn't half bad considering how expensive the little too-small pet shop cages are.

Hi Michaela.... Wave

I use these too, this is Bobbin and Roo's abode:

Indoor NIC cage 2500096458_9d734da0cd

Indoor NIC cage 2499273169_ff3cec72c3

They are fantastic and so versatile, I would recommend them for any indoor buns. Even if bunnies are free range they are really handy for making a quick run for when you need them out from under your feet! Laughing Or for closing off dangerous places or areas of the room you don't want them to get to.

They are fantastic where do you get them from? as I'm sure my megz would love a bun in her room with a set up like that. It would also be great to extend the indoor cage like Thea Bobbin Roo. Very Happy

You can get them from B&Q, Martha started off life in one before bonding with Walt and now they're in a dog crate. I'm thinking about going back to these though, the dog crate is so bulky! lol

I'll be getting some of these for Meggie in the next month or two, they are a great price for what you can make.
Mine needs to go under my stairs so these are perfect in that I can shape then how I like, would only be able to have a small dog cage in the same space as of the height of the cage Very Happy

I love the NIC cube panels, I have used them to make an extension on Ed and Barley's dog crate. They really are brilliant, especially as you can make levels. Barley loves being able to sit up on her ledge. Very Happy Thoroughly recommend them. Very Happy
