my rabbits (old pics!)
moonlight & celeste when they were babies, too young to leave their Mum Daisy and come to me, so they were still living at my friends house (she had taken in Daisy while pregnant)
I forgot how cute and tiny they were!!!
This is them with the rest of their litter - all in wonderful homes, 2 babies stayed with Daisy, I have 2 and my friend's SIL has 2.
This is Daisy, the wild rabbit who is their Mum. She is the kindest, gentlest, funniest rabbit!
And Angel & Stardust when they were house rabs, touching bottoms. They used to lay like this a lot.

Re: my rabbits (old pics!)
thank you, it is really nice as I knew Daisy before they were born, and then saw them all right through, and I can still see the rest (if I travel hundreds of miles that is!)

Re: my rabbits (old pics!)
thanks! I do love the bum touch :luv:
Well my understanding of what happened to Daisy before my friends took her in (from a very over crowded rescuer) was that someone actually captured her from the wild, and then bred her to their rex. Then phoned this rescuer up and said "come get this rabbit or I'll wring her neck" - apparently he had somehow had a change of heart considering he had caught and bred her. So the rescuer took Daisy in thinking she was pregnant but not sure, she already knew my friends who had 2 boy lops. They saw Daisy and fell in love with her, and took her understand she might be enciente. It quickly became obvious that she was, and within a very short time she had her litter of half wild, half rex bunnies. And I guess (?) that is where all the different colours come from, the rex side.
It is a fascinating story and history of theirs though. The rescuer also had the Dad but I dont know what happened to him. Apparently he was black.

Broody for baby rabbits!
They are all stunners, very cute indeed. It's so lovely seeing pics of them all with their litter like that. And Daisy is gorgeous - she actually looks like a gentle rabbit.
Loving the bum touch too
