Juno, my new rabbit...

Yes I know, just a week and a half ago I muttered the immortal words of every grieving rabbit owner 'No more, I can't do it again' but circumstances have an evil way of conspiring against me and this little girl (I think, at 5/6 weeks ish it's hard to tell) walked into my life a few days ago.


She is named Juno after the Roman Goddess of Counsel and is an orphaned wild baby. She had also sustained a fracture to both her front legs which had already healed.


She has 80% use of one leg but the other is paralysed from the shoulder down and will have to be amputated when she is older. Currently Juno lives in the bedroom where it's nice and quiet, though she came to us already very tame.

Walk? She hops, binkies, jumps and climbs by herself! She gets about fine but the leg will have to come off as it drags on the floor and she often treads on it without realising.

The damage was done when she was found, done and healed so she must have been VERY young when it happened. I wish she could tell me what she has been through but she is a real daredevil so no doubt it was partially her fault

I just don't think there are any words for how gorgeous she is.

Aww I am glad she can do that, I remember my amazement when Lucy binkied Sooo can I have the mug as specified above?

She is beautiful and certainly looks like she's full of mischief. She's obviously adapted well to her disability.
