I''m back with a Pepper update
Hi i haven't been on here for ages because computer has been ill. (think it had swine flu) and ive missed it more than facebook.
Pepper has now been spayed and came home from the vets like a completely different bunny. Before she went in i had to keep her in a huge play pen that was taking up most of the kitchen because she was pooing and weeing everywhere constantly despite trying everything to get her to use her litter tray. When she came home from the vets i felt like crying. apparently they had had trouble with her fiddly bits so had messed her about quite a bit and had given her pain relief but i think by the time i got her home it had worn off and she looked so sorry for herself so i shipped the kids off to my mums for the night so she could have some peace and made her as comfortable as i could and kept a close eye on her. 2 days past and she seemed to be back to herself except for one thing. No more wee or poo upon my floors! yeah I cant believe how well behaved she is now. she's allways had a lovely nature and is allways very happy but if she had carried on with the toilette problem i dont know what i would of done. She really is the most perfect bunny now. And has complete free run of the kitchen and dinning area day and night. eventually i'd like her to have free run of the whole house. but one step at a time i think i wouldn't want her to revert back to her old ways!

That's great news! It's amazing what a diffference the op can make. I swear Tibbs was like a completely different bunny afterwards. She started using her litter tray and voluntarily coming up for cuddles.
Really pleased for you both - here's to a long and happy bunny relationship!

Thanks KathyT. i was expecting a little improvement after her op but nothing like this. it must of been a teritorrial thing with her. and i must admit it did soften the blow of the vets bill that i presented my husband with. lol

Re: I'm back with a Pepper update
Whenever I'm suffering with hormones, I think of what un-nuetered bunnies must go through and then it doesn't seem so bad!

Aw bless her heart, how wonderful. Can we have some pics please?! She looks so like her brother in the face x
Re: I'm back with a Pepper update
Im sure she will be fine staying with you. i wouldn't send her anywhere else! I will get some pics up on here but i've lost the latest ones when computer was poorly. my own fault for not backing them up. blanket looks so cute in your pic. makes me realise how much pepper has grown. xx
