Metacam and Baytril

Does anyone know how long to leave giving metacam, after giving baytril? the vet didnt mentioned that jazz needed any but I want to cover all bases incase he's in pain.

I've always given them more or less one after the other (although Metacam is usually once a day whilst Baytil is usually twice). Remember to make sure he has eaten prior to giving Metacam.

Yeah I give mine, one after the other x

I give them both at the same time. I usually give them baytril first as it tastes horrid, and then the Metacam cos its nice and will "take the taste out"

I tend to give metacam twice a day though as it gives a more even level of pain relief

Usually one after the other, some I give Baytril mixed with freshly squeezed grape juice or Ribena light, and some I give mixed all together in apple and blueberry baby food. I rarely give 'straight' Baytril cos it's a nastly taste
