Foster Piggles!
Hiya Guys... I have acquired two foster boars! They were in an awful state and smell sooo bad of urine when they came to me. Talking to the owners mother, they told me that her daughters house was broken into and somebody had set it alight A lot windows were smashed so the daughter had to flee the house for her safety. She left the piggies there, and they had been there for about a week... without food or water She went back for them, fearing they were dead, but they are with me now. They are extremely shook up and very scared. They are quietly growing in confidence, and are beginning to realise I am not going to hurt them, so they have started to venture out! . I found out just today that the real reason they were rehomed was not because the woman didn't want them, it was because after all her trauma at her house, her mother also has cancer She couldn't cope with them and needed her full attention to her mother. The piggies were living in a 27" hutch for all their 12 months they have been alive. I don't believe this was down to neglect, but I think it was down to not having a clue. At least the are with me now! They are in the garage and have a 3ft dog crate attached to a 4.5 x 4.5ft run which they can access permanently! I was worried its not enough room, but I keep remembering they are tiny little piggles and not great massive bunnies Does it sound big enough though, guys? I don't think they have seen so much room in their lives and are very scared
without further ado, here are the two foster lads, and of course if you know me I don't do normal names

Oh my didgery doo da day! They are gorgeous! And well done you for taking them on. What did your Dad say? They are lovely. I have 2 boars and they are still terrified of me after almost 6 years
Re: Foster Piggles!
Thanks alot guys! I am trying not to fall in love, but its proving difficult... but i will resist them! They are getting slightly more confident, but i think they will thrive in an environment with lots of fuss... not that im not doing it now
Charlotte, my both the parents were actually cool with it, i was well suprised! Dad had a cuddle with both pigs though... he pretends he hates animals! But he was the one who went with me to collect them and he didnt bat an eyelid
Theyll be off for a vet visit soon, so hopefully everythings okay with them! Theyre eating the house out though!
