5ft/6ft hutches
Does anyone know the best place to buy a 5ft or 6ft double hutch, the bigger the better, { for 2 rabbits to live separately} on legs, so its not on the floor? I'm really struggling to find one. Thanks x

Re: 5ft/6ft hutches
I have a 5x2 double hutch, the ramp is easily blocked off. I got it from pets and home, ok for in a shed but not great for out in the weather.

I use a plastic tarpaulin in the winter and cover the top with offcuts of vinyl to keep it as dry as possible. I have a Lavendar Lodge which I got from P@H. It cost £100, but is really high and great for the buns.

Ryedale hutches are supposed to be very good. They're not the cheapest, but they're well made, I believe. Never had one myself though, as I haven't had outdoor bunnies for several years.

here's a piccy of 2 in my old set up.
The mesh is divided up into 4 sections, with 4 seperate night shutter pannels - in winter when it's colder or if the rain was really bad I left 2 on

Re: 5ft/6ft hutches
Kernow pet housing make hutches which are really secure and strong and come with a 10 year guarantee.
They do make hutches to customers orders and do a supurb 6 x 3 double hutch.

Re: 5ft/6ft hutches
I had mine made by the local pet shop. They were selling quite a lot of them so I asked if they would make one exactly how I wanted it and they did. Was fairly cheap too. Have you got anywhere local that does something like this?
Re: 5ft/6ft hutches
Hi, i don't have anywhere that does that, that i know of, sounds good though. x
