Bunny Garden
Well... my attempt to have a makeshift garden on my balcony didn't work so well as I literally get no sun. Apparently, plants need sun. Who knew? Anyone know of any bunny-safe plant that thrives in little to no sun???
I do have some herbs growing in pots on my window sills and a big pot of grass which has just started to spring up!
I'm apparently very easily amused because I check them everyday, and I get so excited when I see the little green sports start to poke up! It will be fun to let the bunsters munch on them/devour them in mere moments.
Also, can buns eat cilantro?

Re: Bunny Garden
Definitely cilantro (fresh coriander I think it's known best as over here) cab be eaten by buns and they love it. We grow herbs and that's one of the best as it grows so quickly!
I get very excited about growing things too and an aiming for a bunny garden this year. In growing calendula (pot mairgold) that's supposed to be loved by bunnies and great in salads too and it's soooo pretty

Oo.... cilantro/fresh coriander grows quickly, eh? It's my favourite so I might have to investigate that for myself!

Re: Bunny Garden
It's one of my faves too. Hubby and I are huge curry fans and cook lots of different curries and coriander is one of the best garnishes there is. It's also great chopped in yogurt as a dip maybe with mint too.
Re: Bunny Garden

useless on the plant front but will ask more green fingered huubby when I get home.

Re: Bunny Garden
I have Basil and corriander growing, and the other day I uprooted some dandelions from the park and they are now growing on the balcony
Re: Bunny Garden
Are they quite hard to grow then? I planted some seeds the other day and am hoping they'll grow.
Re: Bunny Garden
Plantain - grows well in little sunshine. We have loads growing in our garden. I think it is really a weed but you can buy seeds for it. TheHayExperts I know sells seeds. Does it grow in Canada?
All our buns adore dried plantain even more - which Burns package and sell. They sell dried dandelions too. How bizarre is that - buying dried weeds
