Erm... Had A Delivery

I need to lie down in a darkened room. I don't know what on earth is going on here but I had various messages from a woman a few days ago to tell me that she was bringing some more babies to us as, from the same place Peter came from. It was 5 and the mother. This morning this woman turned up with 2 carriers with 9 babies in it we think. They are all black or English. A few came out in a huddle. They are grouped so tightly together. I need to wait for them to calm down and then count them. At the moment they are so stressed I don't want to upset them further. She had 2 carriers. She said she had just been to my bet and he has sexed them all as boys? Ther were 2 girls but she has given them to her brother. I asked where the mother was and she said that the owner wouldn't hand that over to her. She also said that these were from 2 separate litters and that she was told the mother of one had died. But that is what we were also told about Peter's children and those babies are entirely different to these. I have requested an inspector go in now the neighbour has managed to get the last of the babies away from her.

I am going to give them an hour and go and look again. If this woman took them off her neighbour weeks ago they could only have been weeks then. No mother. They don't look in the best of health. She has never handled them which now makes my job really bloody easy.... not.

I am so angry my FB stats is a tirade....

It makes me wonder if this is some breeder just getting rid of babies he can't sell but keeping hold of the mother. Definitely think that the RSPCA should go in and close this whole operation down.

So sorry that you end up carrying the can for someone else's irresponsibility. Poor wee buns - and you ! Don't blame you for being angry, I would be livid.

Just spoken to vet they were told a totally different story and also there were 4 girls that went to that vet too.

I bet the woman who brought them is connected in some way too. All sounds a bit fishy.

This is terrible! The RSPCA definately need to be involved. Something horrible is going on im sure of it. I actually feel quite sick.

At least they are now with you. I know this must be making you really stressed hun but they are better with you than someone else.

Turns out she took them all to tbe sexed at my vet today and there were 4 females as well. When she took a basket back to them later she informed them that I had taken all 13 babies when I only have 9 boys. Why is she keeping all the girls? As if we can't guess. Inspector going in tomorrow but what sickens me is that there are no laws to stop these T*ats from breeding like this.

No doubt she took them to be sexed because she only wanted the girls. Then she thought she would just dump the boys at her friendly animals sanctuary so you could worry about re-homing and neutering etc. That is cynical exploitation at its worse.

I have to say I believe you and she on'y wanted girls in my opinion because she is breeding.

That sounds absolutely horrible! Thank goodness that the inspector is going in soon. I dont understand these people. Why would she want to breed them? These people are useless

What a nightmare! I really can't understand why she'd want to breed, when she dumpes the babies on someone else!
