what is the minimum size for a dwarf lop rabbit hutch for one rabbit hutch where the rabbit will have constant access to a 7x3 run

Hi hun,

Welcome again to HH.

Well its recommended that you get the biggest hutch you can. Most rescue centres etc recommend that buns are housed in no smaller than 5ft hutches as bunnies need sooooooooooo much space, especially if you may later on get the bun a friend.

I know that the ones they sell in argos etc are much to small as they do not even meet the RSPCA guidelines.

If you buy the biggest you can buy it is better. My buns have a 6ft x 2ft x 2ft Lavender Lodge hutch and are free from 8.00 am till dark. In the winter, that means they are in their hutch for 15 hours so they need lots of space, and especially space to be able to get up on their back legs.
