Re: Brian - Rex
Did I say thatHappy doing the bonding?
Like you Jo, I spoke to Nickie before I spoke to Paul First he knew of it was when we were reading the thread, but once I'd explained, he was ok about it
We have a spare room that can be used. I'll tip the bed up so we have more room, and de-scent the place, cos it will have Bertie's and Stewies smells in it. We can use the bathroom for meeting and the spare room for housing together. I have one cage here, I'll need another, although I think Anne has a dog crate if we can't find anything else.
I'm very aware that this needs to go the best it can, and I've never done this before. Can someone tell me how long it should take - I know it's different for different buns, but roughly? I think I may have to get McBride round here to help I really want to do anything that will help Brian, so am happy to go ahead if you are
Re: Brian - Rex
Neutral territory, interesting yummy stuff and bung em in! That is my approach and it has only failed once with a male - female bond. But I am sure there is a more professional way of doing it!
Re: Brian - Rex
You'll usually have a very good idea if it is going to work within 24 hours and I used to tell owners to expect me to have the rabbits for 2-3 days.
Re: Brian - Rex
Looking forward to hearing how it goes. What good news for gorgeous Brian!

Catswhiskas wrote:Jomart, Theo has given me the incredible news and I asked her to pass on the message but am too excited so have ended up dooing it myself! I could kiss you right now. Thankyou so much for this. We will put plans in motion, syncronise dates and if Jay will do it, get him to do the bond. I can go to sleep a happy happy lady and break the news to Brian in the morning. Thankyou once again! X x x x
Charlotte I am so very, very happy for you, I will pray very hard for this to work out and I know that with the support of all the lovely people on here I am sure it will work, You really didn't deserve this upset and stress with everything else you are going through, all fingers and paws crossed here and if there is anything I can do to help, bunnyrun or whatever then just give me a shout, good luck xx

Who is Paul?
Paul is Jay's partner - who didn't know that the bonding was taking place in their flat! Until I posted
I think Jay has forgiven me though.
Hoping this all goes smoothly and there is a happy resolution for all concerned. It is certainly such a relief for both Charlotte and Helen to know where he is going and that he will be well looked after. So pleased that Jo is prepared to have him.
