Hi, Update on Lola and Lotta
Hi,
Thanks again for all our advice with Lola and Lotta.
Just wanted to update you now that the girls have been in their new hutch for a while.
Well, they are LOVING it ! I used to lock them up at night even though there is NO WAY they can get out or a fox can get in but the clever little minx's worked out how to nudge and bang the sliding door open so now I don't bother and they are loving it even more :o)
Since I changed their diet (more hay, pellets instead of museli and dark green veg) Lotta hasn't suffered with 'sticky bum' since, I am chuffed. I love watching them in there, they are so happy it makes me happy.
Thanks again
Jenny x

Re: Hi, Update on Lola and Lotta
Hi,
I put some pics up in property ladder when 1st got hutch but will take more today of them having fun in there :-)
Hubby can't believe how much money they have cost us in the 2.5 years we have had them but as he can see how chuffed I am with it and think he is just pleased that I'm pleased lol
Will do my best to get pics later today, it's 5.20am and I've been up every 2 hours since 11.30pm with my 5 month old daughter *yawn*
Love
Jenny

Re: Hi, Update on Lola and Lotta
Hi Jenny
I remember those days too Wait till you have more than one and they take it in turns to keep you awake!
Glad they are settling in well, my lot don't like being shut in the hutch overnight either, so they have the main run at night time too now. I also followed the advice of less pellets and more hay and there have been no more sticky poos, it's a relief to get it right isn't it!
I'd be lost without HH!

Re: Hi, Update on Lola and Lotta
I'm sooo thrilled for you and them It's great when people ask, get the info they need, act on it and it all works out - it makes HH a very worthwhile place and gives us a boost of confidence.
Looking forward to seeing the piccies
