He's at it again. U/D Its Back - Abscess

He's gone down hill more today, he's now not eating at all and Ive had to critical care him

I am absolutely terrified.

Oh Katie I wish I was in Bournemouth Id be on the train right now! Just to give you a hug! He is a fighter, he will fight this. I know how scary it is, I've been there, he must be in alot of pain, i mean i know this sounds stupid but I have an abscess right now we think anyway - in my tooth and it hurts so bad, i couldnt face eating! I know its different for a bunny but i expect the pain relief needs to have time to kick in a bit more.

I know its not cold or anything but when Peanut was on a bad day he would like to sit on a warm wheat bag (he wouldn't use a snuggle safe - too hard for your highness!), I think it offered him some comfort.

Just get as much fluid & CC down him as you can, try mixing his pelleted feed with warm water and a little sweet fruit baby food to see if that will tempt him to eat a bit. Gentle tummy massages can help keep his guts stimulated whilst nothing is passing through.
