litter tray advise!
hey all, i need some advise as to what litter trays people have IN their bunnies cage/hutches? Buttons is out most of the time but he has appeared to prefer the litter tray in his cage but as its just one of those standard trays, he keeps accidentally peeing over the edge and it then goes into the bottom of the cage!!!!
anyone know where is best to get one of those litter trays with the back and sides higher but with one edge lower so the little guy can hop in easily? All i keep finding is american sites and the shipping just seems ridiculous for what it is!!!

Re: litter tray advise!
I use an old washing up bowl, but have seen those dog ones that have a opening at the side and are bigger than the corner trays.
Re: litter tray advise!
yea i was using one of those corner litter trays but in order for buttons to try and learn the tray in the lounge is where he needs to do his business i thought i best not confuse him and go back to a tray in his cage too! which seems to be working i just need to sort out the wee issues!!!
Do you think if i got a washing up bowl and cuz a little bit out of the side (and sanded it smooth) that would work? just as he's a minature he may struggle to hop in something that high just to have a wee!!

Re: litter tray advise!
I think the washing bowl will be fine, as you say, sand down the edges, and just watch him the first few times to make sure he's safe
