Is the bond breaking? Empty Is the bond breaking?

They are in the playhouse now, in a 2x4 pen. They have vet bed on the floor. A water bowl, water bottle, litter tray and hay cookies dotted around incase one bun is beaten up and cant get to the litter tray.

There havent been any fights or anything, but it seems Dolly wont let Skye anywhere near her, especially when shes in the litter tray/eating food. Marley isnt causing any trouble, but im not sure hes sticking up for Skye anymore, either.

Im not extending it until this has stopped/settled down, but should i remove the vet bed and litter tray and go back to just hay on the floor? Hope this makes sense, im in a rush as im late for work!! Wave

Or you could add extra trays and make sure the food is spread out so they have a chance to eat without conflict.

aww I hope the bond isn't breaking! Its probably just Dolly thinking, this is our home, what are you doing here?! but she probably just needs some time to get used to them all in their own space!!!

oh I hope they are going to be okay hun - I think its a good idea to perhaps add another litter tray etc, so that they cant argue over one.

This is normal, dont read too much into it. Mine stayed in a similar set up for ages, in a way its what can happen when there isnt any fighting in a bond, because they dont have a scrap and sort it out, they just faff around each other Laughing

Just keep it as it is until it gets better, its nothing to worry about, they just need time x

Thanks SJ.

I took the litter tray out and have put hay all over again instead and gone back to scatter feeding. Have kept the pen at 2x4 for now and will leave it like that until things settle back down. They have got a bit better, I think the litter tray was causing problems.
