Upset tummy. Advice. Ps, don't read if eating breakfast
Hi guys,
Thumper has quite an upset tummy this morning, it wasn't just a sticky poo, it was quite runny.
We have had this once before and it just cleared up.
She was behaving normally, bright eyed, being cheeky, eating and drinking.
My plan is to see how she is when I get home at 16:50 and call the vet if necessary.
She will be fine till then won't she?? I don't need to get someone to go and check on her earlier do I?
I've got a meeting from 9 til 12 and I am freaking out

Re: Upset tummy. Advice. Ps, don't read if eating breakfast
mmm, if possible, I would get someone to go and check on her, mid-dayish/early afternoon, and make sure they offer her food, and see if she eats it. If she does, then you should be ok until you get home, if not, she will need to see a vet as soon as you can arrange it.
That she's ok in herself is a good sign, and you shouldn't be panicking at this point. I would recommend getting some Pro Biotics (vets sell 'Bio Lapis', P @ H sell 'Pro-C') as soft/runny poos are more an indication of disturbed gut flora, and pro B's healp restore the good bacteria. I'd keep her on them a few days.
Let us know how she gets on and stay calm.

I can't get anyone home to see her. I can't get away from work, meeting is running over and no one I've asked can manage.
I hope she is ok, keep ur fingers crossed please

don't we just! It's not a bad thing, except when you can't physically be there, then it is a freak out thing.

As bunny mummies we always panic love if anything seems wrong. I do hope she is all right and lots of love on its way.

Hi,
Thumper seems to be fine She had sticky poos when i first got home but they are firming up now.
Big improvement from this morning, that was one messy butt!
Freaking out for no reason as usual
Thank you all for your concern and advice, I'm going to pic up some of that pro-c stuff.
Also, apologies if I came across abrupt/rude, busy day at work and I was only managing to reply when sneaking to the loo

Glad she is okay hun.
Dont give yourself a hard time for worrying about her. I am exactly the same and she is a fragile wee lady.
No apologies needed either hun. x x x x
Please give her a cuddle from me x

Thank goodness Thumper is feeling better when B had soft poo's I found banana's really helped her poo's firm up. Apparently they have something in them that helps their gut flora

I'm so glad she's better. It's only natural to panic, especially if you see runny poos!
