Last night's drama

A couple of weeks ago I acquired a gorgeous French lop, Lady Penelope Edwina. She is such a perfect, affectionate little girl.

Well last night some kids were setting fireworks off outside our house poor Lady P was so scared she bit my OH - and got the big vein in his wrist. So it was a bit of a bloodbath and I am very squeamish OH was shouting at us both

I just hope she doesn't turn into a vampire bunny am I wicked for only being worried about the poor rabbit??

no not at all, you know your OH will live and get over it!!

is she still skittish this morning? of has she forgotten?!

She is super super affectionate this morning as if she thinks we will send her back, poor darling!

Oh poor girl must have been terrified.

Hope OH is okay but I think id be more worried about the bun too!

[b]Poor little bunn not sure what I am going to do next saturday nite Ruffin isn't worried but I havent had the others on a bonfire nite before so I may go and sit in the garage with them whilst the worst is going on PS hope your OH is OK has he had any sympathy at all??

ah I gave him a bit of sympathy, he did shout at us though!! She is hiding in the corner bless her silly girlie she knows mummy loves her

Ha ha, I would be the same love. I had a friend once who had a puss and the poor little thing could rarely come into the house because her husband was allergic to cats. I said she should take the cat in and put him outside LOL!!

Your poor hubby, what a shock for you both! Sure your bunny will get over the shock of the fireworks, but I would be careful not to feed her raw meat and make sure her hutch is locked when it is a full moon!

[b]Must be the day for biting bunnys my grandaughter was stroking Fizz under her chin through the run mesh, she had just had a sticky lolly and thetaste must have still been on her finger Fiz must have thought I want a bit of this as Jamie has pulled her hand away Fizz locked on quite a bit of blood and one hell of a lot of screeming with a look on little fizzes face saying what did I do this time

Hope your granddaughter's finger is feeling better now. Norty Fizz, bunnies do not eat lollies!

Their bites a really sore. I once got a beauty from Gloria when I had stroked Felix (not long after he arrived) and they stroked her without realising she would smell him and go mental. She attacked my hand so quickly and took a chunk out of my thumb. It was soooooo sore!

I handle all of mine one after the other without washing my hands in between and they have never bitten or attacked me Not that i'm complaining or anything. But does that mean they all accept each other?

As I said, I had only just got Felix, so he was a strange bun and that is why she bit me.

[b]I handle mine the same and they are OK with me but if Jazz goes into the run and Jim is out in the next run he attacks Fizz so maby not

they can probably smell each other anyway so are used to it bunnies are funny little things, are you wanting to bond them into a group? A lot of the time a bunny fight is caused by bunny behaviour, not the smell of them

OH is still alive by the way getting a 'wild' Frenchie cross to bond with Lady P so might get the OH insured

Yeah i'm going to get them all done in the new year and going to have 2 trios.
