Worried About Dougal

I've noticed today, Dougal has got something around the fur on his nose. It's a sort of browny colour. He doesn't appear to be sneezing, I haven't heard him anyway, and he is eating fine. He won't let me look at it properly.

Any ideas what it could be?

Why is it always at a weekend And I'm away Monday night!

Can you take a photo of it at all Carla .

What dried food is he on as sometimes they truffle in their dishes and it can go all over their nose and stick in the fur.

I hope it is just what Maysie says. Sounds reasonable
since he has so much white around his mouth.

Goodness - other than what Maysie says I cant imagine what it can be.

I'm still trying to get a photo, he just asks to be stroked when I put the camera by him

They are on Science Selective, but also have dried herbs

No he isn't snuffly at all, he's his normal self. No wet poos and is washing and drinking and everything. He's just got this brown dirty nose I think it's been wet, as the fur is a bit sticky.

I'll keep trying for a photo.

I'm pretty certain that he's had a wet nose and then been truffling in his food dish Carla, if you can get some wet cotton wool gently wipe it off and see if it happens again.

Could it be poo?!

Ok thanks I'll give that a go! He isn't cooperating with a photo, he just wants a cuddle. But if I try and pick him up he runs off
