I was out getting ha just now, and as I was looking around the shop at what they had, I saw this http://www.dodsonandhorrell.com/our-feeds/chaffsforage/chaffsforage/just-grass.html and I was quite interested. I wondered if it might be suitable for feeding to bunnies? It comes in big bales, and would be cheaper than the hay I'm currently getting.

Anyone have any ideas?

I've never given my buns readigrass before, so I might be tempted to buy a pack of that to see how they are with it before buying a massive bale! But its like £10 for a 15kg bale, which compared with what I spend on hay and stuff is a bargain!

You can't feed it instead of hay as it is higher in calcium and can aggravate kidney problems in some rabbits and increase fluid intake. But a small handful per rabbit per day will not hurt a healthy rabbit.

i buy a 15kg of readigrass, the buns are not really bothered about it but the piggies adore the stuff, when they isnt any in there cage, they always let me know by wheeking, that size has lasted me nearly 6 months with 3 piggies, you just have to watch the drinking as it can make them drink more
