Chudleigh has had a massive heart attack...he's gone :-(

We are hoping it's not a dental spur again as he has only just had a dental to remove one less than 2 weeks ago but he's hunched up and not eating his breakfast and has had a very dirty bottom, so we are hoping it's a tummy ache and not bloat. Mike has given him meds and it's a case of just keeping an eye on him at the moment.

Please can I have some Vibes for my little Chuds as he just doesn't seem to be having a good time of it just lately for tummy problems.

He seem's a bit brighter but we are keeping an eye on him as one minute he can seem ok and then the next he's ill again .

Little fella seems ok this morning so no doubt it was a touch of tummy ache, I do think he is one of those bunnies that just has a very sensitive tummy and is going to suffer with it it all his life Bless him on and off.

No change I'm afraid, we are not giving him and his wife Jamie any greens today we are putting them back on Excel Jr & Dwarf. I have just contacted Burgess about their Excel Sensitive nuggets as we are wondering if they would be ideal for Chudleigh.

We have had tummy problems with Chudleigh now since we have had him and each year he seem's to have more bloat attacks and tummy aches and so we think his tummy must be too sensitive to greens as we had the same problems with Keegan our Dwarf lop. We are going to wait to see what Burgess say and I think he can go next week to the vet's with Faith for a dental check up just in case he has a spur .

We just want to get it right for him as his tummy problems have been going on far to long.

I really hope you can find a care and diet regime which works for him. As you know, my tummy made my life a misery for ages but (paws crossed) I've been well for ages although my Humum would like me to be a bit porkier.

Have you ever used Pro-C? It might just help to kick-start his gut flora into being better balanced. Plus because it tastes yummy, we tend to drink more water

Yes Sparky we have Pro-C, that's one good thing about us with having so many bunnies we have a really good medicine cupboard, he's always been like this we never get through a year without Chuds is ill 3-4 times with bad bloat or countless tummy aches, we know he hasn't bloat at the moment as he is passing poop's but I can tell he's uncomfortable like he has a tummy ache. He is nibbling a bit of hay. Mike is going to syringe feed him and if he's no better by tonight I think he will be going to the vet's.
