I go on Wednesday morning for my endoscopy and I'm dreading it and a little worried
I'm feeling really quite ill at the moment but I think a lot of it is the worry of having an endoscopy

No such luck Holly as far as I know it's home after, I may get a cup of tea but I doubt it. I have now been told to choose sedation as you can feel the camera going down with the spray. I'm now at that stage where I am so low I just don't care what it's like anymore, this is by far the worse Christmas I have ever had and I love Christmas usually.

Been this morning at 8:30am for my endoscopy...

I had the throat spray and it tasted like banana.......a year out of date banana the camera part wasn't nasty but just uncomfortable and I gagged and belched but that was normal
would I have it again....yes

Diagnosis.. my stomach lining is very red and inflammed and they have took a biopsy so now I have to wait and find out the results

Have to go back in January to see the specialist.

At least that's over with.

I must admit I felt quite proud as apart from being in hospital twice on bed rest with my back about 5 years ago before then I was about 13 years old and had my tonsils out. That is the only Op I have ever had and within 2 weeks I have had all sort's.
The nurses were very nice indeed with it being my first time and they said I did brilliant but I never got a badge or a lolly to suck which was a bit mean

So glad the endoscopy went well Maysie, and that it wasn't too horrible for you

Fingers crossed the results come back all clear now!

What mean nurses! No lollipop OR badge? I'd be demanding both

I know and I was really looking forward to a "I've been a Brave girl" badge they are just meanies

Oh sweetie, what a mealy mouthed lot. I woudl have refused to go until I had one LOL!! I am glad it went well hun and it is over with.
