Vibes for little Cheeky (my foster bunny). Updated.

My little foster bunny and his brother are on their way back to BARC this afternoon to see their Aunty Tracey. Cheeky has always been very stunted since we got him and although I managed to fatten him up over the past couple of months, this week the weight has fallen off him and he is just skin and bones. He sometimes seems 'not on this planet' and a little unco-ordinated and lethargic. His previous insatiable appetite has dwindled and he has to be prompted to eat (placed right in front of the food bowl). Ic is looking after him but he definately isn't himself.

As most of you know I'm having a few health issues myself and my bootiful Lexie bun also became very poorly last week so we decided it was best for Cheeky to go back to BARC for some intensive TLC from someone who isn't permemnanlty shattered. I feel quite guilty that I cant take care of him in his time of need but it's for the best and he will also get to see the BARC vets too.

Can we have some get well soon vibes for this lovely little guy so he can start living up to his name again soon.

I heard back from Angie last night after Cheeky's vet trip, it appears his tummy is too big for a rabbit his size and whilst it could be a blockage (not that he has stopped pooing or eating) it's more likely to be genetic given the circumstances of his birth. He is being treated for a blockage just incase.

Oh dear.....I have never heard of that before. Is he a youngster, and if he is, do they think that there is a chance that me might 'grow into' his tum when he is bigger.....or will he always have this problem?
