Strange marks on lips?

Rhia has some strange purple marks on her lips & mouth. They literally appeared overnight, I have no idea what they are. Have a photo but its on Lewis' phone, Will upload tomo. Anyone any ideas??

Crikey, never heard that before, allergy? has she chewed into a pen or similar? Hope she's ok.

I've seen this before, is it on the skin rather than the fur...
Marley has one, it came up overnight and never went again. It seems most obvious on bunnies who have white fur around the mouth, Fiver has had something similar before too but his came and went unaided.

I think Marleys is a scar but I believe Fivers came from something he ate.

Thanks for the replies. It doesnt look like a stain, Not sure how to explain it. Have added a photo but you cant see too well. Its purple in colour & appeared probably a month-ish ago? Its on the skin Sooz, Yep - I wondered if she'd banged herself at some point, meaning her teeth went into her lips But Im not sure how likely that'd be? Think its so noticeable like you said cos she has white fur, and her lips used to be all very pale pink. Just wondering what it is!

How weird Could it be just their skin changing color - I know their fur changes with age - Ivy gets blacker with everyday, Do you think maybe skin color can change, because black and white buns often have darker patches of skin, though it is normally where the fur goes black - Just a thought, otherwise I don't have a clue sorry

Have you considered that they could be something like a blood blister or a bruise-perhaps she has bumped or rubbed them on a hard toy or even managed to bite her lip-just a thought given there location on her bottom lip? Reason I am suggesting this is on the photo it looks purplish.

Marley's looks exactly the same as that and we think it is basically the result of an injury, however it's never gone away (or changed in any form either). Strange thing is you'd expect to see swelling too but it looks normal apart from the marks.

Looks like she could have accidentally bitten her lip?
