My Poorly Chance :( U/D back from vets.

He has an eye infection. It has come on today in the right eye. He has a thick creamy discharge that is yellow in colour and has also had a tiny tiny dot of blood in it. I have started him on some Fucithalmic drops and some Baytril, but I have a feeling it could be tooth related. I though teeth problems just called runny eyes, not what is quite obviously an infection. He isn't eating this evening so I am popping him on some Fibreplex too and booking an appointment for vets tomorrow. Any ideas guys. And vibes for my poor wee man please

If it is tooth root related then an accumulation of gunk in a blocked nasolacrimal duct can become infected.
I hope the Vet can help tomorrow.

Oh poor Chance, sending vibes.

His eye is bathed again and more meds. Booked into vets for 5pm. He has eaten a small amount over night. his blimmin teeth drive me mad. He has not long had them done. Think we are in for another dental. The thing is as well that his tear ducts are scarred from his old owner not attending to his dental problems before. So he always has runny eyes, which since losing Princess have been worse, as she kept them so clean. Arghhhhhh I hate this. My poor little man.

I hope the poor chap gets on OK at the Vets today.
Its probably his tooth roots that are blocking his tear ducts.

Well we are back from vets... turns out he has a slight irregularity on the eye ball like he has scratched it or something, and she thinks this is what has caused the infection... my money is on his love of Nancy. I wouldn't be suprised if a stray claw got him. Gonna have to monitor them now. So he is having drops for his eye. His teeth are fine

ME too.. he doesn't look impressed. They have prescribed Fucithalmic drops and Baytril which luckily I was already giving. And metacam too!

He is on metacam yeah..... he is too hot too which he hates. He has the house holds only fan on him

and he deserves it! bless his boots. I hope he gets better. I used to wet Charlie's ears when he got too hot. He didn't much like the process but it cooled him down effectively. Failing that any voddy you have going spare will cool him down quicker (rub on ears) - obviously make sure he doesnt drink any

ME too my poor munchkin.... Helen your buns have been sprawled out all day too, I put some cool packs in but they just went and laid in the fleece??? Cwazy wabbits

Yeah that is what I used, I called them cool packs to sound posh lol!!!!! He doesn't want herbs, just greens and raisens
