Update on Pud / OUR PRECIOUS PUD HAS LEFT FOR THE BRIDGE

Tia and Barry the Bun are at the vet's tomorrow for check-up's, we think that Barry could be deaf and would like his ears checked and Mike is taking along The Pudster as he is no better at all, still being a begging boy but he's so snuffly and chesty and sneezing and so I think they may put him on Septrin. The vet will go mad as he has put some weight back on but we have cut him down with greens and he doesn't have pellets this is why he is begging all the time at the moment, it's like having a little dog

Like me

Mike takes the buns on vet runs unless there is more than three going and I will go with him but usually I'm doing bun feeds when he goes. He set's off very early as it takes him an hour to get to Sunderland in a morning with the busy works traffic.

Here they all are waiting to go. Pud, Tia and Barry.

Pud has a severe nasal infection and he has now been put on Septrin along with the Baytril if this doesn't help and he is no better he has to go on Penicillin injections.

Tia ok but slightly overweight. ( she's not on pellets so I will reduce her greens)

Barry vet doesn't think he is deaf...just grumpy

that is brilliant, no he isn't deaf just grumpy Tia is crossed with a big bunny so i'd expect her to be a little bigger but better than her being underweight. And Pud well you poor poor boy, and no throwing strops because i'm not coming in November, you listening to me Pud.

at Barry just being grumpy!!

Joey had Penicillin for the same sort of problem (well, they oral form as he freaked out too much with injections) and it seemed to do the trick *touch wood*. Big cuddles for Puddles

Hahaha oh I'm so glad Barry is just grumpy! My two never respond to me (except for a shake of the fenugreek crunchie jar) and I just always assume they are ignoring me. Think they take lessons from the OH!

I think he may be on the penicillin injections for a week and have an injection every so many days, not to sure

Barry!!!! i do so love a grumpy bun! My other half also suffers from Selective, grump induced deafness so I feel your pain!! ha ha

Monday 24th October.

Even though he has been put on Septrin it doesn't seem to have made any difference to him at all, he is very very snuffly and I can hear his chest and it sounds awful. So he's back next week at the Vet's and she will put him on the penicillin injections no doubt.
Pud has been one of the many reasons I have been quite down recently as he keep's me going with his funny antics and he is such a loveable bun and he is so quiet and I know he's not well and although we are trying to get him better it's taking so long and he has to endure so much with his medication for his on-going ear infection and now this with his nasal infection
