Re: balding heel - any ideas? UD again..
Hi SJ
Just wondering how Jelly's feet are doing, I have only just caught up with all of this, sorry I haven't been in touch before. Did you get a vets appointment?
As for feeling guilty, I felt the same, but you told me that I shouldn't so please take your own advice. It isn't your fault, you can't help circumstances. At least you have noticed the problem now and you can start treating it.
xx

No I didnt because theyve calmed down already, Its odd but i gently rubbing her feet got rid of all the dry hard skin, and then the sudocrem kept it soft for a day and now its hard again but not red anymore. She has her VHD appointment early next week now, i had to change it and she will have them looked at then but theyre actually not that bad.
How is Oscar?

oh that's good then, hopefully you have got it under control.
Oscar is getting there thanks, he's always a bit off colour for a day or two when he's been to the vet, he get's really stressed. His feet do look to be improving a bit now so fingers crossed putting the hay down over the carpet has helped.

That's great news that Stewie's feet are looking better, so glad to hear that.Jay wrote:Thanks for asking Helen, they are a lot better, he still has some pink bits (!) but they aren't nearly as enraged or large as before. I think we nipped in the bud just in time. Sorry to hear about Paddy, pics would be good xx
I've posted pics of Paddy's feet now, just at a loss as to what to do next.

I've just seen your thread on sore hocks - I didn't realise someone else had been having problems too, as I'm not always around on the forum. Just wanted to say I'm glad that Oscar's feet are improving - hope they continue to do so.wizbit wrote:oh that's good then, hopefully you have got it under control.

SJ - that's good news about Jelly's feet too.

Thanks so much for your good wishes for Oscar, we are persevering with the sudacrem so hopefully he will continue to improve.
