Re: Milo update
Yay! Im so glad that he let you have a smooth. Bless his heart.
Stick with the litter training - he will get there. I think also that he maybe can still smell Lily so he may be scent marking too.
What is his story Karen??

Re: Milo update
I saw him advertised on Rabbit Rehome.
He came all the way from Lincolnshire and hubby met him half way on cambridge.
Milo is supposed to be a year old, he weighs 3.6 Kg and has baby style fur so have been feedign him on baby food to boost him up as he feels skinny.
He was a house bunny we are told but he seems like he's not too great with the litter tray at home.
Im not entirely sure why he is rehomed something to do with the landlord not sure but they were sad to see him go but said he did have to go.

Re: Milo update
I wonder if maybe he was kept in a cage all the time and thats why he isnt litter trained and not used to people?

Re: Milo update
It could be Katie, he had a dog crate in his previous home.
at ours he ahs the hallway sectioned with one of theose 3 width baby gates so has a sectioned area as opposed to a crate.
Im not too keen on crates esp for larger bunnies as they dont get through baby gate bars
He likes to suit out in the hallway on the carpet and watch the world go by, he's quite timid but hoping that he settles in more.
he likes he's soft flat bed we bought him to lie on instead of the floor. its softer on his slim frame

Re: Milo update
Milo has stopped grooming me and seems to be increasing his peeing around the house but improving on his training in his bed area.
Daniel and I cannot carry on like this. We will get him insured neutered and if there is no improvement try to rehome him as I cannot live like this :O(
I really dont want to do it but I cannot see another way at the moment :O(

Oh no - Im so sorry to hear this. It really sounds like he is confused bless him.
Have you tried de-scenting with lavender?
Jay used this when Daisy stayed with him so that Daisy couldnt smell Bertie.

Re: Milo update
Katie thanks, I bought white vinegar and have tried that.
I can tell now when he's going to do it, he gets this funny look on his face.
I havent heard back from his old Dad, he was supposed to be litter trained but obviously isnt
Im tired, and its not fair on his either, he's in his bed at the moment because he cannot be trusted not to pee everywhere.
I cannot help but think i wasnt given all the truth
On the plus side for Milo he's put on 1Kg in 2 weeks from eating properly and his spine doesnt stick out so much now
